Esra Üzmez is a professional with a strong foundation in language, communication, and people-focused services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies from Boğaziçi University, one of Turkey’s most prestigious institutions, and a second degree in International Relations from Anadolu University. With advanced linguistic proficiency in Turkish, English, and Spanish, and a deep cultural understanding of these languages, she combines theoretical expertise with hands-on experience in translation, interpreting, and education.

With over 10 years of professional experience in the language industry, Esra has worked with clients across various sectors including PR, marketing, media, publishing, and technology. Her specializations include business and marketing translation, technical content, website and social media localization, and audio-visual translation. She has consistently delivered high-quality results with attention to both linguistic accuracy and cultural nuance.

Alongside her translation work, Esra has years of experience teaching languages. She has provided private and group lessons in English (ESL and EAP) and Spanish, working with students from diverse backgrounds—ranging from exchange students and university applicants to professionals preparing for exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and BUEPT. She also served as an English instructor at Üsküdar University, teaching academic skills and leading grammar and speaking clubs, while also contributing with document translation and language support for faculty.

Driven by her passion for learning and growth, Esra has continually expanded her skill set. Over time, her natural strengths in communication, organization, and interpersonal connection led her to develop expertise in HR and recruitment. What began as an extension of her language and communication services has grown into a separate, thriving consultancy.
